£16,000 – £22,000 salary DOE

Plus bonuses Plymouth 8am-5pm Mon – Fri

Our client is a supplier of outstanding and inspirational products to the public sector and they are seeking a top level Telemarketer to join their small friendly team based out of Plymouth.

This is a chance to work in a really great working environment, making business to business appointments for an experienced field sales team.

The ideal candidate will be a experienced in telemarketing or telephone based business development, and have a focused approach for uncovering new business opportunities, carefully following through potential sales leads and securing key appointments for the Field Sales team.

This is NOT a hard sell environment or product and instead requires someone with good rapport building skills, business acumen, and a professional friendly approach.

You will be fully computer literate with Excel, Word and Outlook and within the role you will be responsible for maintaining a computer based CRM system to a high standard of accuracy, whilst maintaining our high standard of customer care and service.

The role includes:

  • Telemarketing
  • Lead generation
  • Internal Sales Support
  • Providing support to the Marketing team, organising mailings and campaigns

Qualities needed:

  • Strong enthusiasm for discovering sales opportunities via telephone calls
  • Demonstrable experience in telesales and computer CRM systems
  • Tenacity and diligence to follow through sales leads to appointment stage
  • Meticulous attention to detail in maintaining the customer record management system (CRM)
  • Ability to liaise effectively and efficiently with customers to full and final satisfaction
  • Attention to detail to manage a busy diary whilst fulfilling varied and sometimes complex tasks effectively.
