Business Development Executive £20,000 - £25,000 salary negotiable, OTC £12,000 uncapped Company car, mobile, laptop Our client is one of the UK’s leading local multimedia businesses.  They have built upon their role as one of the UK’s largest newspaper publishers to become a fully integrated multimedia news and information provider, combining heritage with innovation in order to best serve the needs of our local communities and advertising customers.  They have an online network of over 155 local news, information and classified websites which continue to go from strength to strength and are currently launching their newest addition to their digital solutions, a local business directory. With this in mind our client is looking for 2 motivated, target driven Business Development Executives to cover the territories of Devon & Cornwall, and Bristol, Gloucestershire & Cheltenham. You will be a hungry sales person who can relentlessly generate new leads, and pursue and close business. You will have a proven record of new business sales success in a field based position, and will be used to earning top commissions.  In a highly results driven environment, you’ll be the sort of person to whom 100% new business target holds no fear, but instead represents opportunities. This is a varied and interesting role where your target market will be SME’s from a diverse range of industries.  Your responsibilities will encompass appointment making through to cold calling, and face to face presentation of advertising solutions. You will be given all the training and tools needed to ensure your success, along with a generous basic salary, uncapped commissions and a company car & mobile.
