Our client is the UK's largest independently-owned regional media business, employing 2600 people across England within their many divisions.

Due to expansion they have a vacancy for an Advertising Sales Manager based in Devon. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and driven advertising sales professional to join and further expand their successful sales team.
The successful applicant will be an outgoing and lively leader with previous experience in a senior advertising sales role, preferably within Newspapers or Magazines. In addition you will have a minimum of 3 years advertising sales management experience and be ready for the next step in their career. Whilst eager for the thrill of closing a big deal, you’ll also enjoy creating successful sales strategies, lead by example and possess the ability to motivate and coach a team of 18 sales people, both Telesales and Field sales. You should have exceptional negotiation skills, existing relationships within the South West business community and a proven sales track record.  Previous sales management training and a strength in performance management is essential.
